President of the Storting to have online meeting with Chairman of China’s National People's Congress
President of the Storting Masud Gharahkhani is having a digital meeting with Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, on Wednesday 27th April.

“In these demanding times of war, pandemic and climate change, it’s important to stand together. International cooperation is vital for being able to tackle the major global challenges we are facing,” said Masud Gharahkhani before his meeting with Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress.
The meeting follows on from Li Zhanshu’s visit to Norway in May 2019. The Chairman of the People’s Congress was hosted by Tone Wilhelmsen Trøen, then President of the Storting. The digital meeting on 27th April will be the first meeting since this visit.
