President of the Storting signs the book of condolence for Queen Elizabeth II

On Tuesday 13th September, President of the Storting Masud Gharahkhani signed the book of condolence for Queen Elizabeth II.

The President of the Storting wrote the following words in the book of condolence:

I would like to send my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 

We join the British people and the nation in mourning the loss of a Monarch who was so dear to so many people. 

We also extend our profound and sincere sympathies to the Royal Family.

The signing took place at the British Ambassador’s residence in Oslo. The President has also sent the Storting’s condolences to the UK Parliament through Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons.
