Marking the one-year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine
On Friday 24th February, the Ukrainian flag will be raised alongside its Norwegian counterpart outside the Storting.
The Storting will raise both the Ukrainian and Norwegian flags outside the Storting’s main entrance at 8 a.m. on Friday 24th February to mark the one-year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine.
The President of the Storting, Masud Gharahkhani, and the Chair of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee will be present at the ceremony.
“It’s very important for the Storting to mark the one-year anniversary. Ukraine needs our support and attention. This is why the Storting’s Presidium made the decision to raise the Ukrainian flag outside the Parliament building. We stand united with the Ukrainian people,” said Mr Gharahkhani.
