“I am much looking forward to welcoming President Ruto to the Storting. This is the first time that Norway has had the pleasure of receiving a visit from a Kenyan president. This reflects the close relationship between our two countries; one which has grown stronger in recent years. As well as being a key partner for Norway in Africa, Kenya is also an important trade partner. We work closely within the UN and stand together in a large number of questions. Not the least of these is our efforts to promote clean and sustainable oceans,” said Mr Gharahkhani.
