Practical information
Queues and security control
We know from experience that there will be certain very busy periods during the evening, and that at these times queues are unavoidable. Two entrances to the Storting will be open: the main entrance at Løvebakken and the public entrance at the side of the building on Karl Johans gate. Families with children are recommended to come to the main entrance, where they will be given priority until 20.00.
All visitors will be required to pass through a security control, where they and their belongings will be scanned.
Food and drink
It is not permitted to bring food and drink into the building.
Prams and pushchairs
Prams and pushchairs for children must be left in the reception at Løvebakken. The area for this will be clearly signed.
Cloakrooms
Self-service cloakrooms with lockers are available in the reception area at Løvebakken.
Lifts
Please contact one of our staff members if you need to use a lift.
Toilets
Toilets may be found in the reception area at Løvebakken.
Photography
Please note that the Storting’s photographers will be documenting the event. The photos will be archived and may be used on the Storting’s various channels and social media platforms. Photographers will be clearly wearing the Storting’s access passes. Please speak to the photographers or another member of the Storting’s staff if you do not wish to be photographed.
Visitors are free to take their own photos except in the security control zone.
We much look forward to seeing you!
