The Storting says yes to Swedish and Finnish NATO membership
On 16th June the Storting gave its approval to the Swedish and Finnish NATO application.
98 MPs voted in favour of the resolution “The Storting agrees to the approval of protocols, in general accordance with the drafts submitted, on the accession of Finland and Sweden to the North Atlantic Treaty of 4th April 1949.”
4 MPs voted against the motion.
