“There are extremely close and strong bonds between our two countries and between our Royal Families. A significant number of Dutch people live in Norway, and the ties between our nations are extensive. I’m looking forward to welcoming the royal couple to the Storting,” said Eva Kristin Hansen, President of the Storting.

The courtesy call on the Storting is one of the items on the royal couple’s programme during the state visit to Norway. The majority of state visits include a meeting with the Storting’s President.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are visiting Norway on the invitation of Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja.
