The Sameting comes to the Storting
This year is the 25th anniversary of the Sameting – the Sami Parliament. To mark this event, the Storting has invited the Sameting to hold one of its four annual plenary sessions in Oslo from 21st to 25th September.
The Sameting will open proceedings with a seminar. This will be followed by committee meetings in the Committee Building. The plenary sittings will begin on Wednesday and take place in the Lagting Chamber.
The Sameting will be responsible for the session’s programme and its execution, while the Storting will assist with practical details.
