Oslo Culture Night 2013

This year's Oslo Culture Night will take place on Friday 13th September. An inside veiw of the Storting is one of 110 different events that are on offer in Oslo. All the events are free of charge.

The Storting was one of Oslo Culture Night's most popular attractions last year.

Culture Night is an annual event that is arranged by the City Council. The objective “is to give the city’s inhabitants and visitors a taste of Oslo’s cultural diversity and a feeling of the breadth and quality of Oslo’s cultural life”.

The Storting will open its doors from 18:00 to 22:30.

Visitors will be able to explore the building and to experience, among other things, the Storting Chamber, the Central Hall and the Eidsvoll Gallery for themselves. The Storting’s own tour guides will be on hand to answer questions, and will be able to tell you more about the history of the Storting, the works of art on display, the architecture and the Parliament’s role within the political system.

All visitors will be required to pass through a security check.
All visitors are asked to come to the main reception at Løvebakken.

Welcome – we very much hope you enjoy your visit!
